Meet the face of Battersea Massage
Hello, I’m Violet, the practitioner behind Battersea Massage. My journey into massage and bodywork began through deeply personal experiences, supporting my mother during difficult periods of ill health and navigating my own experiences of burnout. These moments shaped my understanding of how important compassionate, attentive touch and calm spaces can be.
I trained at the Jing Massage Institute in Brighton, where I developed a strong foundation in advanced massage techniques and a particular interest in working gently with the body’s connective tissues (often referred to as fascia). My work focuses on offering thoughtful, tailored sessions, including approaches that concentrate on areas such as the jaw, neck, and scar tissue, always guided by comfort, communication, and consent.
Today, I offer sessions to people who are looking for a slower, more considered massage experience, particularly those who may feel sensitive, overwhelmed, or simply in need of a calm and supportive space. Many of my clients value the opportunity to feel listened to, respected, and cared for without pressure or expectation.
Battersea Massage is a place to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your body in a way that feels safe and unhurried. Each session is collaborative, shaped by your preferences, with the aim of supporting relaxation, awareness, and overall wellbeing.
