Ozempic, which contains an ingredient called ‘semaglutide’ is linked to 162 deaths in the U.S and this number has increased by 40% in just six months! And now it is hitting the UK.
These drugs were originally made to treat Type 2 diabetes but because of their ability to “help” with weight loss they have gained a LOT of attention.
Now, about 20 million people use these drugs every year but like many quick fixes, they can come with SERIOUS risks and the signs are beginning to show as the sudden uptick in Ozempic and Wegovy-related deaths is causing concern.
The UK has it first (or second) recorded death recently and since 2018, over 62,000 adverse reactions have been reported for these medications in the U.S, and nearly 75% of these happened after 2022. (This is when these drugs became MORE widely available.)
These aren’t just minor inconveniences; they’re significant medical events that could have long-lasting impacts on your health.
For instance, the Daily Mail reports a case of a 30-year-old man on Ozempic who was hospitalised with pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas that causes severe abdominal pain. In another case, a 49-year-old woman taking Ozempic experienced mania and a dangerous surge in blood pressure, requiring hospitalisation.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Novo Nordisk, the company that produces these weight loss poisons said this earlier this year:
“We are pleased with the sales growth in the first three months of 2024, driven by increased demand for our GLP-1-based diabetes and obesity treatments.”
Because Novo said sales of weight loss drug Wegovy had more than doubled from this time last year, raking in around $1.35 billion!
A study of over 36 million reports showed that semaglutide (the main ingredient in Ozempic) is linked to suicidal thoughts. Out of 30,527 reports, 107 involved suicidal thoughts or self-harm.
People who also took antidepressants or anxiety medications while using semaglutide were at a higher risk for suicidal thoughts, up to three times higher, in fact.
This is because semaglutide affects brain areas that control emotions…appetite…and reward systems.
It changes how dopamine works in the brain.
This might explain why some people feel low or lose interest in things they normally enjoy. I don’t know WHY on earth anybody would endorse such an evil drug that is out to ruin lives.
But many celebrities have jumped on the bandwagon to hail their own use of these poisons for “weight loss” all to convince the masses that these drugs are “safe” and “effective.”
Let’s stop believing these lies. This is all part of their agenda!
