The Exciting Possibilities Of Narrowband UVB Therapy

Narrowband UVB (NB-UVB) is a particular treatment where a small part of the UVB light
spectrum is used to treat skin conditions. Our treatment lamp produces these special rays, which have anti-inflammatory effects on the skin. Although these rays are also present in natural sunlight, UVB treatment is usually more effective than sunlight because harmful and
ineffective sunlight rays are filtered out. In this way, we also seek to minimise the risk of
burning episodes.
NB-UVB is the gold standard phototherapy for psoriasis and used for Eczema and Vitiligo.
It works by modulating immune responses, slowing skin cell growth, and reducing
inflammation.
It is non-invasive, well-tolerated, and generally safe with proper guidance.
It requires consistency and medical supervision to avoid adverse effects and maximise efficacy.
The 311nm wavelength used in Narrowband treatments is a particular area of UVB (280nm - 320nm) that is reflected in the sun’s rays and known for its strong healing properties. Used carefully because of its strength and its potential to burn skin if overused, it opens up a whole new layer of possible treatments.
However, my research work into the exciting world of Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI) which was used and documented through thousands of clinical trials back in the 1930’s and 1940’s from the non-medical Emmett Knott, left me pondering whether our 1000W panel could replicate his work without the need for drawing blood and passing it over a UVB bulb, prior to reinserting it back into the body. Nobody, as yet, has joined the dots as I have and experimented on using the Narrowband panel for treating those 35 different diseases proven to be effective by UVBI.
UVBI is still being used in a number of clinics today after its heyday of 50 US hospitals – some very prestigious – having the equipment installed in the 1940’s - but the cost and invasive nature of the treatment has held it back as a serious treatment protocol for those used in clinical trials and recommended by Emmett Knott.
I have started on clients with pneumonia and HPV with amazing success and now looking forward to trying others on the full list of items that Emmett Knott’s machine proved treatable in clinical trails throughout the 1930’s and 1940’s.
UVBI improved a broad range of health problems in the clinical trials such as:
Bacterial infections (sepsis, septic abortions, osteomyelitis, meningitis, tuberculosis, typhoid fever)
Viral infections (pneumonia, shingles, hepatitis, severe COVID, long COVID, polio, AIDS)
Cardiovascular disorders (heart attack, angina, peripheral arterial disease, intermittent claudication, Raynaud’s phenomenon, thrombophlebitis, hypertension, pulmonary hypertension)
Autoimmune disorders (rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, eczema, multiple sclerosis, transplant rejection)
Gastrointestinal / renal / liver disorders (liver, gallbladder, biliary tracts, pancreatitis, peritonitis, kidney diseases)
Surgery (preventing postoperative complications, reducing mortality, faster recovery, burns etc.)
Obstetrics / gynaecology (male & female fertility, preventing miscarriages, preeclampsia, healthy babies, polycystic ovary syndrome, inflammatory pelvic disease)
Neurological and psychiatric disorders (depression, schizophrenia, migraines, cerebral blood flow problems causing tinnitus, mental confusion or insomnia)
If you are suffering from any of these problems and would like to try and use UVB rather than medication, pills or creams, please let us know.
